Inspired by Tigran Hamasyan’s song Kars 1 composed after the city, and the ancient Mesopotamian myth of Shahmaran, queen of snakes.

I'm a visual artist and 2d animation director coming from Izmir, Turkey. My name is Alemşah, but I'm known as Alosh.
For as long as I have known myself I am drawing to communicate my inner world. A growing desire to get inside my paintings led me to pursue an education in Animation degree at the University for the Creative Arts. (England, Surrey) / After completing my Bachelor degree with a first class, I took my Masters degree in Brussels at Luca School of Arts, Campus Sint-Lukas.
During my education, specializing in the paint-on-glass technique allowed me to see how animation makes it possible for paintings to dance in a musical manner. Expanding my knowledge into the digital realm, I started animating in diverse mediums often led by music. Being caught up in this dance, I aim to reconnect with the primal source of being, the collective consciousness. In this way, an authentic way to make original music videos becomes possible.
I believe art can compensate for the lack of ritual practice in the modern world to approach what lays beyond physical reality. That being the main motivation of my artistic practice, I aim to expand my artistic tools to do so.
